Also if you enjoy having a peaceful relaxing summer holiday then do not feel left out, because there as activities such as fishing, walking in the beautiful lush mountains, golf and tennis.  You could just choose to go swimming, sun bathing, or even hire out a pedalo on the beautiful Lake Vonnes, which is less than 1 mile away from Chatel. Additionally you could go to the beach at nearby Lake Geneva or take a boat trip to Geneva from Thonon Le Baines.
